Allen Edmonds Mayfield Tassel Leather Brown Loafers Shoes 。There are shoes one buys, and shoes one inherits a relationship with. The Allen Edmonds Maxfield is firmly the latter. Handcrafted in Port Washington, Wisconsin on the storied Handsewn 114 Last, it has long been the standard by which American tassel loafers are measured — equally at home commanding a conference table or anchoring a weekend blazer. This pair presents in a deeply saturated warm brown calfskin, its surface developing the burnished patina that only genuine leather achieves through honest wear. The woven leather saddle and collar lend artisanal texture to the vamp, while the double tassel detail nods to a tradition of American craftsmanship growing rarer each season. Recraftable — meaning Allen Edmonds\' own Wisconsin craftsmen can resole and restore this shoe to full factory condition.
